Who We Are
Board Buddy AI is operated by Moretti Industries Ltd, New Zealand, for the Buy Rustic publishing workflow.
Board Buddy AI is a private tool that imports published website articles, prepares images and text using AI, and supports an authorized Pinterest publishing integration.
This policy covers the Board Buddy AI application. Other activities on BuyRustic.com are covered by the website’s separate privacy policy.
Information We Handle
Depending on the features used and services connected, the application handles:
- Website content: article titles, article text, excerpts, categories, publication dates, featured-image URLs, and article links from BuyRustic.com.
- WordPress connection information: a username and application password supplied to retrieve articles when authentication is required.
- Pinterest connection information: developer app configuration, authorization tokens, token expiry details, and board information used to select publishing destinations.
- Pin content: generated images, titles, descriptions, alt text, keywords, and destination links.
- Workflow records: category-to-board mappings, campaign settings, review states, intended publication times, publication results, pin identifiers, and error messages.
- Privacy correspondence: information provided when contacting us about the application or a privacy request.
Sandbox and production connection records and board mappings are kept separate.
ChatGPT and the hosting platform also process information needed for authentication, access control, security, and operation of the private workspace. This may include account identifiers, email addresses, IP addresses, browser information, and request logs.
We do not ask for Pinterest passwords or Pinterest session cookies. WordPress connections use application passwords rather than ordinary account login passwords.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Import articles from our website.
- Generate and edit relevant images and text.
- Connect authorized services.
- Match article categories to destination boards.
- Create individually approved pins in the selected Pinterest environment.
- Maintain drafts, settings, and publication history.
- Troubleshoot errors and help prevent duplicate publication.
- Protect the workspace and respond to privacy requests.
Providing connection information is voluntary. Without the relevant authorization, some features—including importing protected articles or publishing pins—will not work.
We do not sell personal information or Pinterest API data, or use it to build advertising profiles.
Services That Process Information
OpenAI
Article content, generation instructions, and images are sent to OpenAI as needed to generate images, copy, and alt text.
WordPress application passwords and Pinterest authorization tokens are not included in AI prompts.
OpenAI also provides ChatGPT authentication and the Sites hosting service.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides the application runtime, database, and image storage through Sites.
Pinterest processes account authorization and API requests when the integration is connected.
Creating a pin sends its image, title, description, alt text, destination link, and selected board identifier to Pinterest.
Sandbox pins are visible only to their owner. Content published to public production boards may be publicly accessible.
WordPress And Website Hosting
Buy Rustic’s WordPress installation and hosting provider process requests to retrieve articles, including authentication where required.
Other Technical Providers
The application may load fonts from Google Fonts. These requests can involve technical information such as an IP address.
Service providers may process information outside New Zealand. Their own privacy policies and service terms also apply.
Storage And Security
The application workspace is access restricted.
Connection secrets saved through the application—including WordPress application passwords and Pinterest authorization tokens—are encrypted before database storage.
API credentials are handled server-side rather than included in the application’s browser code.
We take reasonable precautions to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention
Imported articles, drafts, generated images, connection records, settings, board mappings, and publication history currently remain in the workspace until deleted or removed through an operator request.
The current version does not have an automatic age-based deletion schedule. Some records require operator assistance to remove.
Service providers may retain backups, security records, and operational logs according to their own retention practices and applicable requirements.
Cookies And Technical Resources
ChatGPT and the hosting platform may use cookies needed for sign-in, security, and access control.
The Pinterest authorization process uses a short-lived authorization-state cookie to help protect the connection process and identify the selected testing or production environment.
We have not added advertising pixels or audience-tracking scripts to the Board Buddy AI application. This statement does not describe cookies used elsewhere on BuyRustic.com.
Access, Correction, And Deletion
You can contact us to request access to information we hold about you, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, or request deletion of stored information.
We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting on a request. Applicable legal requirements may affect what can be supplied or deleted.
Disconnecting Pinterest
Revoke Board Buddy AI’s authorization through Pinterest’s connected-app settings. Contact us to remove the corresponding authorization tokens and connection records stored in Board Buddy AI.
Disconnecting WordPress
Revoke the application password through WordPress’s user profile settings. Contact us to remove the saved connection record from Board Buddy AI.
Removing Content
Drafts can be deleted through the application where that option is available, or through an operator request.
Deleting a record from Board Buddy AI does not automatically delete a pin or board already created on Pinterest. Those items must also be managed through Pinterest.
Information retained by service providers is subject to their own controls and retention practices.
Children
Board Buddy AI is intended for adult website operators. It is not designed for children and does not offer children’s accounts.
